I am a freelance picture researcher and book cover designer.

I have over 20 years experience in illustrated book publishing, including managing a busy picture department. Before I became freelance I was
the Image Rights and Permissions Manager at Quadrille Publishing.

I started my career as a graphic designer and was drawn towards image rights through my love of books and photography.​

 

​​During my time as a picture researcher I have worked on a wide variety
of subjects, successfully sourcing images from the UK and overseas,
whilst keeping to tight deadlines. Working with editors and designers
to help authors achieve their vision.​

​

Most recently I've been enjoying designing book covers for a variety
of special interest titles.

​

Based near Marlborough in Wiltshire, I am well located to serve London, Oxford and Bristol. ​
